An earlier harvest of Mataro, sitting at 12% alc.  This is our ‘pinot – esque’ style of mataro.  Lighter in weight and colour but with careful use of oak as to not add weight to the wine.  Beautiful red cherries from the fruit and complimentary vanilla and light toast integrated from the minimal barrel maturation.  A perfect spring time lunch wine pairing.
